When i need to switch, I need to reconnect it again. I can connect it to my cellphone and computer. Plantronics does have software but only can be run in Microsoft. And the quality and distance of transmission are really great. But because my computer is mac, so actually it cannot switch between two devices very well and quickly. I think it is a drawback. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this.

This headseat has great sound, and it easily switches from computer to cell phone -- but I have the hardest time keeping it on my ear. I've tried all of the different ear buds, and it just won't stay on.If you tend to have trouble keeping headsets on, this is not the product for you.
Perfect for my business. I have used this for well over 3 weeks now and it works perfect. I use it to make Skype calls and every phone call that I've made is clear. My only complaint is the range to be longer, but its not too big of a deal. The fact that both my phone and Skype can be connected at the same time more than makes up for it.
I can barely hear anything with windows down before.2) The noise filter works so well that my boss thought I am in the office all the time but in fact I am siting outside smoking near a busy road.3) Headset respond within 1-2 ring from my Treo. Volume can also be control at your PC.CONS:1) Manufacturer claim a range of 33 ft. I can now wind down my car window & enjoy the summer wind while driving on a HWY. I accidentally found this gem when I decided I need something for skype.
Now I have to power my PC all the time to charge it. Skype always goes back to windows default. I gave up eventually. Some BT takes 5 ring by then my boss will hang up.4) Works with skype very well. They forget to add "Only in the jungle".
2)SHould have provided a 2 pin charger. Most bluetooth headset fail this test. Other party cant tell the diff from my wire headset and this at 20ft & 3 walls away.5) Works together with skype and Treo. In short this is by far the best BT headset I have used.
I have try so many bluetooth headset since 2004 (Jabra, Motorola, Kyocera and some generic brand)-- No one can match my cheap $10 wire headset. In a modern home and office there are alot of interference and I will say max range at 20ft w no interference if u have lots of other BT like cordless phone, microwave etc. it can reduce to 10 ft. 3) When using Skype for first time, remember to set the mic to platronics as default. Most people never taught that a bluetooth headset can listen to music on your PC. Super Loud and clear, the ability to stream all sound from my PC and the noise canceling works wonder. What I like about this:1) Loud and clear headset.
This thing has increase my happiness by 5% overall. Headset can pick up if either one ring.6) Comfortable enough to hang it the whole day.7) Can listen to Youtube, play games & watch DVD in office while people taught u are talking to customers. (My main reason for buying). Hope they fix it. all for 79 bucks.
